09:26 pm: Interesting things about stuff...
Okayyy, so the endeavour to post one update per year was going quite nicely...until 2005. Must have fallen asleep. Nevermind, here I am! Not quite sure EXACTLY what to say right now, not much is happening...but this is a very much official revival, (can you revive something that only had two posts to start off with? :s) of my LJ. There. Be thankful, That was 3 minutes I could have spent playing Dance Dance Revolution... ;) Oh to have the spare time...

10:02 pm: Got a job...
I think one journal entry every six months is a good pace for me... Anyway, this'll be for the very few people who may read this... meaning Faith, Trix... and maybe El and Heidi (but not likely).

My schedule for the following year (and probably for the following 2-3 years) will be working in a 3D -animation studio in this same town where I studied at the University. First, there'll be a paid 9 month training period, where I'll learn all the needed programs; then the better-paid actual work'll begin.

Hmm, yeah, 3D-animation may seem a bit far fetched all of a sudden, but I'm convinced I'll be happier there than I'd be doing graphic design for some advertising company. Seriously, I'm so fed up with all this bullshit that seems to surround the field of graphic design! It's well paid, but... it eats your soul. The people... gahh! I don't wanna have nothing to do with those people.

Graphic designers are basically:

1. Too full of themselves
2. They pretend they're famous just because their hair spray poster got into the front page of some major newspaper, tho they're only famous among the graphic design circles, that's all. (How many graphic designers can YOU name?)
3. They talk about money way too much. (Which I find a very boring subject)
4. They pretend to be very "counter-cultural", yet still they all seek safety and recognition by dressing according to the same code.
5. They're..... shallow. Too shallow. Not shallow like "shallow-but-kind", but shallow like "shallow-and-also-boring"
6. .... Ok, I could go on and on. *___*

Sure, there are exceptions. (You can tell the nice ones because they work in a newspaper, not in an ad company.)

ANYWAY.

I'll be MUCH happier doing more physical, more REAL work as an illustrator or animator. Some of my friends'll be working there too, so that's nice. I still haven't finished my thesis, gotta hurry up with that one before the 3D -animation thing starts. Have a good summer. (Cause I won't have time for such silliness.) ^______^

05:39 pm: What?
*Testing* I'm confused. I didn't know I was able write my own diary as I don't have a paid livejournal account...
